The Changing Definitions of Race and 'Racism' (pt. 1)

Interesting side note, until the end of WWI, in Germany the term "race (Rasse)" was not a common term, the common term that was used to describe a specific group of people was "ethnicity". Now on the contrary, in Britain arround the 19th century due to Darwinism and the uprising of eugenics by Galton and his followers, like the Huxleys, Sanger, indirectly the Rockefellers, Fabian Socialists, Berhard Shaw etc. it was quite "progressive" to believe(!) in the superiority of certain races or social groups. This progressive "modern" philosophical thought was utterly neglected by the German intelligencia, they dispised this kind of thought. At that time the German intelligencia thought that this kind of progressive thinking was barbaric, unethical and contradicted the basic concept of the enlightenment. And who even dared to believe in this british progressive thought, was literally thrown out of the academia. Which BTW was the main reason why the Germans in WWI didn't use any kind of "anti racial / national" war propaganda in comparison to the Brits or US Americans.
The major change in thought occured imediately AFTER WWI, because of economics. The whole German academia, like the rest of Germany was bankrupted, this delicate need for money, was when the Rockefeller Foundation, by offering grants, took over a major part of the German academia. This change of (intellectual) guards was the moment when those who were a decade ago thown out of the academia, were now brought back by the Rockefeller Foundation, and were now lecturing the new thought of "modern" british progressivism.
